Aloha All,
When researching the attack, keep in mind that -in 1941- Hawaii was five and a HALF hours difference from Washington DC, and that today...Hawaii is only five hours difference from Washington DC.

1 PM Washington DC was 7:30 in the morning in Hawaii in 1941.

The attack began at 0755 hours in 1941 or 1:25 PM in Washington DC.

Today, the commemoration in Hawaii is usually made at 0755 on TODAY's CLOCK...a thirty minute difference from the actual beginning of the attack!
