my name is Sinead Bryan, I am 15 and from the south east of england. I saw Pearl Harbour in the cinema about 4 times and rented it as soon as it was released. Hopefully I am getting the video for Xmas!!!

After seeing the film i did a small project in it and ever since I have become more and more interested. I am hoping that this message board and site will enale me to learn more about this fascinating event!

Hello Sinead, and welcome!
What part of SE England are you from?  I have friends in Norfolk and have visited Diss and Norwich.  It's lovely in that part of the country.
I applaud you for your interest in Pearl Harbor and encourage you to read through all the threads looking for further topics of interest.  There are many wonderful historians posting here and we all learn a lot from them.
   Come back often!

Hello Sinead, and welcome!

It is a great pleasure to know that someone as young as you has a strong intrerest in Pearl Harbor. Hopefully you will grow in knowledge and help to keep the spirit alive.

I have been a student of Pearl Harbor with a concentration on the U.S.S. Arizona for the past 30 years. I now hold a position as a moderator on this message board, and also maintain a web site on the Arizona.

In closing let me again welcome you into the Pearl harbor community and if I can be of any assistance, please feel free to contact me at :

Hello Sinead:

I would like to suggest that you attempt to get a copy of the National Geographic special titled "Pearl Harbor..Beyond the Movie, as it does a great job in separating the fact and the fiction with the events portrayed in the movie.
