Aloha All,
In the Dec 1991 National Geographic, is shown  a circular graph that recorded the bombing which was part of a power plant in the Navy Yard. The late Captain Gordon I Peterson recovered this item as a souvenir. I wonder whether this could be examined to help understand the timing of events, as suggested in that magazine?
TIA,

David- Do you know what ever happened to this recording. Is it in private hands or in a museum/collection someplace? Just wondering.

Regards!
Chris

Hi Chris,
National Geographic had me proofread the article in question for that Dec 1991 issue. In such capacity, I corrected the author on several items. One of the items which I could not confirm/deny was this souvenir.

The meager questions I had were, alas, too late...they had already returned to souvenir to the family. I could not get NG to allow me a contact address. This artifact DOES need the challenge to assure the question raised in the caption.

Thanks for asking,
David
