I'm currently researching the minelayer USS Oglala. Does anyone know of any reliable websites, books, journal articles or other historically reliable sources. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Concerning what aspect? Don Madsen's "Resurrection" covers more about her salvage than any other source I've seen.

Well, I presume you've located her DANFS entry and Navsource  page but there they are in case you hadn't.

I would highly recommend Resurrection[/URL by Dan Madsen, who sometimes frequents this board. It will cover her salvage and might contain some other history.

Lastly, you might try the [URL=http://members.aol.com/fredric....ciation
to see if they know of any vets who might be able to help.
