COMSUBPAC popped a story online about T1c (SS) Bill Johnson's return to Pearl Harbor 64 years after he survived the attack while serving aboard the USS Holland.

Let's see what this does...

Mr. Johnson's memory may be a little foggy as the Holland left Pearl Harbor early November 1941 and arrived at Cavite Naval base in Phillippines Nov. 22, 1941. In early December she was ordered to depart the Philippines and set course for Port Darwin, Australia. arriving on Jan.2, 1942. The only submarine tender present on the 7th at P.H. was the Pelias AS-14
