Ladies and Gentlemen,

Bad news first; good news follows.

I am the author of "Hawaii's World War II Military Sites," published in 2002.  It was and is the definitive guide to the WWII sites on Oahu, not just those involving 7 December but the entire Pacific War.  Many of you gave it a good review:  thanks.

Much to my surprise, I learned recently--and indirectly, the publisher told me nothing--that the book was not being reprinted.  Good luck trying to find one.  I spent all Friday night, 12 March, calling Oahu and ended up with two.  You may want to try the internet.  Amazon had only two, both used.

The good news is that I have published, on my own, an addendum (25 pages with color photos) based on my new discoveries from my time on Oahu in 2004.  Please see my web site, www.pearlharborguide.com, for how to order.  You will not be disappointed; it is the same quality as the original book.

Mahalo (Hawaiian for thanks),
Charles A. Jones, Colonel, USMCR

Aloha Charles,
Saddened by the demise of the first edition, now is the time when we may help you with the additions, deletions, corrections, comments which may make the second edition 'mo betta'! With your addendum coming at just the right moment, we may better help with your plan for your second edition...'no matta' which publisher you choose for it!
Cheers,
David

Gents,  Count me in.   I spent almost five years on O'ahu and have found and or visited lots of spots that would be of interest.
