I have always read 2403 deaths occurred at Pearl Harbor, just recently I read a different total of 2390, which is it and what prompted the change, if any?

Apparently it *is* news, MSNBC, The Marine Corps report that number. The BBC did back in 2002 when WARD's midget was found... I wonder if we have a case of one news article getting it wrong and then being the most popular link when others subesequently searched for the info?

I remember being at the Hawaiian Pearl Harbor Survivors Association monthly meeting in February 2001 in Honolulu, and Daniel Martinez telling the group that they had just recently learned of another civilian death that was the result of the attack. (I guess through detailed research, they learned of a civilian dying a year or so later due to the injuries sustained on 7 Dec.) So, as times goes by, the number might still be on the rise.

Regards!

Thank you folks for your replys, I read the totals in our local paper here in Owosso, Michigan. I guess I can ask them where they got the info from.
